We believe extracurricular activities are crucial for student development, offering opportunities to explore interests, develop skills, and connect with peers. These activities enhance academic performance, boost self-confidence, and foster a sense of community. Our school provides a variety of options, including sports, performing arts, academic clubs, and community service, to enrich students' educational experiences and help them develop valuable skills like teamwork, leadership, and time management. We encourage all students to engage in activities they are passionate about.
Students must wear the HPS uniform and maintain a neat, clean appearance. Dress, grooming, or accessories that disrupt the educational environment are subject to review by school heads. Adherence to the dress code promotes a positive school climate. Check the Admission Office for uniform details.
Harvard Prep School’s Counselling Department provides comprehensive support for personal, social, emotional, and academic growth. Our rigorous curriculum, combined with small group and individual counselling, offers tailored support to enhance student development and success in school and beyond.
We value student leadership and provide opportunities for students to develop their skills both in and outside the classroom. Our aim is to inspire confident, creative, and compassionate leaders who positively impact their communities and the world.
At our school, the safety and well-being of students and staff are paramount. We ensure a secure learning environment through updated safety measures, including secure entrances, emergency systems, and policies against bullying and violence. Our staff and students receive regular training in emergency response protocols to ensure effective action in emergencies.
We do not currently offer transportation but may in the future based on demand. Until then, Pre-K to high school students must be dropped off in designated areas as per school guidelines. For safety, students must be escorted by parents, authorized persons, or staff for entry and exit. Parents picking up after-school care students must enter the building to collect their child.
Harvard Prep School recognizes the educational value of a school community that includes students from varied economic backgrounds. Our Financial Aid Program is fairly administered, clearly communicated, and consistently applied in accordance with the guidelines set by our Administration. It is designed to help support families in all grades, who demonstrate financial need.
